99% of customers happy with Al Qusais Police Station

DUBAI: An overwhelming majority of customers at Al Qusais Police Station were satisfied with the professionalism of employees and services provided by the Station, an annual inspection report showed.

The report was released by Dubai Police during an annual inspection conducted by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, in the presence of Expert Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police; Brigadier Abdul Halem Muhammad Ahmad Al Hashmi, Director Al Qusais Police Station; and Colonel Saeed Al Madhani, Deputy Director of Al Qusais Police Station, and a number of Dubai Police senior officers.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri reviewed the Station’s strategic indicators namely the security coverage provided across the area of jurisdiction indicator which reached 97% compared to 82% in 2019. The duty officer’s presence to reporting sites indicator also reached 100% meanwhile the average response time for emergency cases indicator was just 3.6 minutes when the target was five minutes.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri further reviewed the Station’s average response time for non-emergency cases which was at 8.4 minutes while the target was 8.5 minutes.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri was also briefed on the security programmes implemented by Al Qusais Police Station in the jurisdiction area which led to a 41% decrease in criminal reports. He also praised the efforts exerted by the Cheques Division as they amicably setled cheques worth about Dhs60 million in 2020.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri praised the efforts of the Traffic Records Department at Al Qusais Police Station and their keenness on ensuring the safety of road users and saving lives through the effective deployment of patrols across the jurisdiction area, which led to a 6.4% reduction in traffic incidents in 2020 from the year before. The Station also recorded 404 traffic reports last year, compared to 431 traffic reports in 2019. In addition, the road-related deaths rate per 100,000 population in the area of jurisdiction decreased by 0.65% in 2020, and the target was 0.76%.

The commander-in-chief of Dubai Police also reviewed the statistics of the Customers Happiness Centre at Al Qusais Police Station, where the live meter of customers’ happiness was 99% in the year 2020, Meanwhile the mystery shopper index was 90.8%. The Station also processed 78,197 transactions in the year 2020, including 12,843 in-person and 65,354 smart transactions.
